The Legend of Saint George

 Do you know the story of Saint George? Do you know that he is the patron saint of England?

Our students of 6th grade know the story very well and they are also creating their own books.

SANT JORDI ROSES

To celebrate The book's day. We saw the Sant Jordi legend and we made some  roses with felt for this ocasion.

SPRING TIME!!!

The students of first grade had  decorated the classroom's door with spring elements: flowers, butterflies...
We did symmetries to make ours butterflies.

CLIL methodology

We use the CLIL method to work art.
What are the benefits of CLIL?
-introduce learners to new concepts through studying the curriculum in a non-native language.
-provide materials which develop thinking skills from the start.
We work in the classroom  four CLIL components:
-content: The curricular subject (art and craft)
-Communication:Learnes have to produce subject in both oral and written forms.We therefore need to encourage learners to participate in meaningful interaction in the classroom.
-Cognition:We need to develop learners'cognitive skills.
-Culture:The role of culture,understanding ourselves and other cultures, is an important part of CLIL.

BOOKMARKS

Today, the students of second grade have made bookmarks for celebration of the Book Day.


We have been doing the bookmars about the legend of Sant Jordi.
